A prestigious award offered by the Arts Council of Wales.

In 2006 John was awarded a Creative Wales Award, to give him time to develop his classical composition work.
This is a fantastically enlightened and well-designed award scheme, aimed at helping established artists to change
direction, take stock, or develop an area of work which they do not normally have time for.

John found the work enabled by the Creative Wales Award scheme to be life-changing, and the enormous support
offered by the Arts Council Of Wales was absolutely brilliant. Diolch o galon i Gyngor Y Celfyddydau!
